Mahmoud works in the fields of advertising, beauty, fashion, and product photography for commercial clients. Having started his career in Cityscape, architecture, and landscape photography, his passion extends over an array of varying genres. Nothing is more rewarding than practicing a job that you love, and for that reason, he decided to quit his job as a financial analyst to pursue his dreams. “Each image I shoot is not only a subject, but rather a beautiful story drawn in my head” he expresses his love of nature and his personal development through the images that he creates. During his childhood, he showed a keen interest in photography, searching for inspiration in photography books and coming across it in ‘The Camera’ by Ansel Adams. He was especially influenced by these two quotes:
“You don’t make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved.”, and
“You don’t take a photograph, you make it.”
Six years ago, Mahmoud entered the training market and soon became known for his ability to explain complex subjects with clarity. His unique and vivid way of teaching led him to become a global ambassador for TOKINA, FOTOPRO, NISI and an instructor with NIKON ME at a young age, as well as having appearances on the well-known TV channels MBC, SAMA Dubai, and Alarabia.
In 2017, he was selected as one the best 100 Arab photographers and won many competitions, both locally and globally. Mahmoud also has different publications in websites such as Arabpx and Being Published Matters, as well as digital publications in Dubai Media office and HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Emirates Airlines, The point and Emaar.
